Why You Need To Start a Home Based Business

The idea of making money on the Internet, being able to work from home or anywhere in the world using nothing more than a computer and
an Internet connection is flat out awesome! So why isnt everyone doing it? Good question.
When you take into consideration the vast contrast that exists between being your own boss and working like a dog to avoid being fired by
one, it would seem that looking into a home-based business should logically be the next step. However the opposite continues to prove
true, creating an opportunity in and of itself.
Lets examine some facts concerning home-based businesses:
Home-based business is a $427billion dollar a year industry. Thats more than the pharmaceutical industry, food industry, and consumer
goods industry combined! How? Because of the sheer numbers of people in business for themselves who are now working from home. These
opportunities are available for such individuals because so many of us would sooner buy from an entrepreneur than become one. Our
decision to put off or avoid this home-based opportunity only fuels it onto further growth.
Consider this:
Home-based businesses represent 52 percent of all small firms and provide 10 percent of the total receipts of the economy, about
$314billion. As you jump out of bed tomorrow to the sound of the alarm clock, rush through the morning ritual of potty, shave, and shower
only to get stuck in traffic; I hope that at some point during your ordeal, the facts discussed in this article may trigger an emotional
response in your mind that will cause you to take positive action.
More food for thought.
A telephone survey conducted in February thru March 2007 found that fully 83% of Online Americans say they have used the Internet to seek
information about their hobbies and 29% do so on a typical day. Looking for information about hobbies is among the most popular online
activities, on par with shopping, surfing the web for fun, and getting news. Internet usage has now reached 73% for all American adults.
Internet users have noticed big improvements in their ability to shop and the way they pursue hobbies and personal interest online. Are
you thinking what Iam thinking?
If the opportunity exists right now to be positioned in front of all that activity, and do it from the comfort of home with nothing more
than a computer and an Internet connection, Why not?
Finally, running and owning a home-based business offers new owners a very inexpensive entry point. Forty to 44 percent of all home-based
businesses require less than $5,000 startup. Many are available right now for nearly a fraction of the cost.
Be your own boss or risk being fired by one and lets face it with todays economy on the down side, its a risk you just cant afford to
take. Become an entrepreneur as well as buy from one and enjoy the benefits that will come from recognizing why you need to start a
Home-based business.
